New patients

01What should I expect at my first visit?
Your first appointment takes about an hour. We'll review your health history, take digital X-rays if needed, do a full exam, and Dr. Infantino will walk you through anything he finds — no rush, no upsell.
02Do you take new patients?
Yes, almost always. Call us at (408) 442-3440 and we'll get you on the calendar, typically within two weeks for a routine exam — sooner if something hurts.
03What do I need to bring?
Your insurance card (if applicable), a photo ID, and a list of current medications. That's it — we handle the rest on our end.

Insurance & payment

01Do you take my insurance?
We're in-network with most major PPO plans. Call us with your carrier and group number — Stephanie can tell you exactly what's covered in about five minutes.
02Will I get a surprise bill?
No. We give you an estimate before any treatment begins and stand by it. If something changes mid-procedure, we stop and talk through it first.
03What if I don't have insurance?
We offer an in-house membership plan that covers cleanings, exams, and X-rays for a flat annual fee, plus a discount on other work. Ask us about it at your visit.

Care & appointments

01How often should I come in?
Every six months for most patients. If you're prone to gum issues, grinding, or have had recent work, we may recommend every three or four months.
02I'm nervous about the dentist. How do you handle that?
You're in good company — a lot of our patients told us the same thing at their first visit. We go slow, explain what we're doing before we do it, and offer nitrous oxide if it helps. No judgment.
03Do you see kids?
Yes, from toothy toddlers through teens. We recommend kids' first visit around their first birthday or when their first tooth erupts — whichever comes first.
04What if I have a dental emergency?
Call (408) 442-3440 during office hours — we hold time every day for urgent same-day visits. After hours, leave a message and Dr. Infantino will get back to you.
