The veneers are custom made to fit your smile perfectly, so having them placed must be done in two appointments. During the first appointment, your teeth will be prepared for the placement of the veneers by slightly trimming down the natural tooth under local anesthetic. A mold will then be taken to fit your new smile, and sent to a laboratory to have them custom made. You will leave this appointment fitted with temporary veneers until the permanent ones are ready.
Upon the second appointment, your new permanent veneers will be placed using extremely strong dental adhesive. With proper care and regular dental cleanings, your new veneer should last you years.
