Bonding

Bonding is a restorative procedure to fix issues such as chips, cracks, discoloration, or misalignment. The procedure involves the tooth being lightly etched and restored using a tooth-colored resin material that is hardened with a special light that ultimately “bonds” the material to the tooth. Once the material is hardened, the resin can then be trimmed and smooth for perfect results, and is then polished to give it an even more natural appearance.

Bonding is an excellent alternative to porcelain veneers, as it can give you similar results in a much less invasive procedure. Not only is it less invasive, it is also a more affordable option for fixing a vast number of cosmetic issues.
